Michael Kink is Executive Director of the Strong Economy for All Coalition, a labor-community coalition working on issues of jobs, economic justice and income inequality.

 

He recently led the statewide “99%NY” campaign that brought together community, labor, student, faith and Occupy groups to win progressive tax reform and a new “Millionaires Tax” for New York.

 

He is an attorney with degrees from Brown University and the New York University School of Law and has worked as an front-line antipoverty lawyer in Harlem; on HIV/AIDS, homelessness, disability and children’s issues in New York City, Albany and Washington DC; and as a senior attorney and policy director with the New York State Senate in Albany.
