Amendment Purpose: 
Amend the Constitutional Provisions Regarding Casino Gambling
Summary of Amendment: 

2011 Assembly Bill A05724A]

Authorizes the conducting of casino gambling upon premises licensed to conduct
both horse race meetings and pari-mutuel wagering; provides for the regulation
of such gambling by the legislature.

Authorizes a lottery game for the support and assistance of wartime veterans.


2009 Senate Bill S06061

Authorizes gambling on professional sporting events.


2007 Assembly Bill A03667

Authorizes casino gambling in certain cities and counties of the state;
authorizes the use of electronic games of chance and slot machines upon the
premises of certain horse racing tracks in certain instances.


2001 Senate Bill S05826

Authorizes casino gambling in counties of Erie, Greene, Sullivan and, the city
of Niagara Falls and the Rockaway Peninsula.


2001 Senate Bill S05827

Authorizes casino gambling statewide under certain conditions.
